Community

Team project

Year: 2022

Context

The Community Project was launched alongside the introduction of the Sales Team Leader role, providing a platform to promote collaboration, and facilitate knowledge sharing within the newly formed team in a Web Agency in Italy.

Goals

  • Facilitate easy sharing and discovery of documents and resources.
  • Encourage engagement through personalised content recommendations and interactive features.
  • Create a seamless and intuitive user experience that aligns with the sales team leaders’ workflow

Low fidelity and User Test

The wireframes were designed with a focus on simplicity and smooth navigation, making it easy for users to find what they need. Early user interviews played a key role in defining the core features and building the first low-fidelity prototype. I conducted usability testing with a group of sales team leaders from different age groups. Their feedback helped improve the flow and functionality, leading to a final set of wireframes that balanced clarity, efficiency, and real user needs.

Contribution steps

One of the concerns of the team was the repetition of the content in the community. To avoid that the users write about the same topic, or express the same concern, I designed a 3 steps process of writing a new contribution. By asking for a category and the keywords, the system checks for similar posts in the communty and encouradge to continue existing conversations instread of starting new ones.
